Q: Why am I giving it away?

A: Several reasons. First, I started thinking about this when one of my favorite bands, Angels And Airwaves, released their brand new album as a free download on the same day it was released in stores. I thought to myself, “If Angels And Airwaves is giving away free downloads of their brand new album, who am I to charge more than free for mine?”

Second, I am looking at it as an easy way to spread the music around even further than it has already been spread. Right now, everyone who has purchased it has the ability to pass it around, tell friends about it, etc. But what about all of those other people who aren’t yet fans of the music? I’d like them to be able to hear it and possibly become fans as well. Then they will also have the ability to pass the music around to their friends. In short, awareness is more important to me than money. For those of you who are saying, “Sure, but I’d still like to pay for it! I think you deserve money for your work!” - Great! You can always buy something else… buy the CD, come to a show, etc! There will soon be t-shirts and such that you can purchase as well if you want to contribute.
